Awesome Emblems for Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Call of Duty: Black Ops II (Video Game 2012) Poster

8 /10

Zombies saves the game

Greetings from Lithuania.

I'm giving 8/10 for this installment ONLY for zombies mode, more exactly Town survival. Other stuff in this game is the old formula - i'm done with this franchise.

Campaign. Plot - something about destruction and saving the world. As usual. The hero is literally an immortal. Superman wouldn't survive in Call of Duty world.

Multiplayer - same as usual. You'll play for one year (from November till next November and Call of Duty) and than it's done. I played for 6-8 hours and have been tired from it.

Zombies. Loved it. my record in Town survival was 47 rounds - it took an ~ 8 hours to complete it. Total time spend in Zombies was more than 600 hours. It's addictive and saves this game.

Overall, it's just an another Call of Duty. I'm tired from this series, because it's literally just a rail shooter - no feelings, no nothing - just running and shooting.

Play it for the zombies.

The zombies: 10/10

The rest of the game: 3/10

The campaign and competitive multiplayer were incredibly boring and disappointing after the near-masterpiece status of the original Black Ops.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2

The most popular Call of Duty game, a game that I spent hours playing the zombie or multiplayer mode, which was not said by the previous part, and the zombie development became the best phase of the story. It was not the same as the previous parts, but it was not bad. I really enjoyed playing the game and I hope it comes out for the Playstation 5.

Just what I thought, unfortunately.

The game just came out and these are my first impressions, note I'am going to re-review this in a couple of months. After Modern warfare 3 I lost all hope for call of duty, even though I already knew it was going to be bad. Treyarch's has had a good track record so far, but that stops now. Some problems have been taken away, but they added a whole truck load of new one's. The lag is worse than ever before, my god, the game runs like s**t. MW3 lag wasn't to big of a problem, but here it is unplayable. It goes like this, I shot someone 15 times or more and they turn around and shoot me once, and I mean it when I say one bullet. Black ops lag was also atrocious, but not this bad. Every death I get is from a camper, explosion or lag. They put even more kill streaks in this time, so all those twelve year old kids can get a high k/d, they sit in corners. But thats just what you get when all these children are watching you tube. I was a huge zombies fan and would play it just as much as the multi-player. I like how the maps are grander than before, but I just don't care about zombies anymore, it got old. The graphics look the same as black ops, the game play is the same. The sound is great, as with all Treyarch games. I have no interest with the campaign right now, I'll review it in the next review. The game isn't bad, it's just UN-polished(multi-player). Out of my 70 some matches i've only had one game where it wasn't lagging, so I wasn't getting angry and easily got top score. I would like to add that I like the guns and the levelling system is the best so far. The game would be more fun if the lag was addressed.

!Update!#1 The lag is even worse now, and my theatre mode doesn't record my game plays. Zombies is still fun, but all the bad players ruin it. The game has been crashing my ps3 quite a bit, at least once a day.

!update!# I've been getting host a lot lately, and it sucks, it causes me to have a worse connection than anyone in the lobby, which results in a rage quit. This game is so bad I can only play it for ten minutes before I shut the PS3 off. I mostly enjoy using the pistol's, and only a few primary's.

This game is by far the worst Call of duty I have ever played, and I played them all, it could be one of the best if Treyarch cared enough to fix it, but they don't. This is more of a rant than a review. I can't enjoy this game anymore, it is complete garbage. The worst game I have played all year.

JAN,15: Well the game worked fine for a couple of match's this past week. I am getting tired of the game giving me host and then kicking me out, it mostly happens when I am doing good, coincidence? I find it stupid that you have to prestige. And last but not least, this game is incredibly boring, I played thirty minutes today and it felt like an hour and a half, and to my amazement I only played this game for 1 day and 15 hours, it felt like I should have been at 2 and half days by now.

JAN.18: I had the displeasure of hearing something disturbing today, it was about a teenager. For you more mature people, get ready for this. So this kid somehow got on the topic of assassin's or something, he said that would be a fun job, the teacher said" then you would have to kill people". The kids reply made me want to throw up. He said I would have no problem killing anyone, it's fun and I do it all the time in Black ops. It was very obvious he meant it, especially when the teacher gave him a disapproving look. Is this seriously what young kids get out of these games, if so, it should be illegal for anyone under 17 to play them. I thought I'd share this along with my other rants.

JAN.23: I just had the most frustrating 30 minutes of my life. Here is what happened. My ps3 had just crashed 3 times in a row tyring to get this s**ty game to work, and then it finally worked. And I was greeted by a constant 2 bar, campers and a lag switcher. And for the first time in my 8 years of gaming I through my controller. I used enough forced that it bounced off of the ground and hit my computer which caused it to hit the wall. It didn't break. I have never been that angry before, but this steaming pile of excrement is the last straw, I think I'm going to take a month off from playing this game, I don't think I can take anymore of it's BS.

FEB.10: Well the game has been running better lately, it still makes me angry though. I've been using pistols exclusively, and find I do better with them. And for the first time in this game I had fun, when I got a 7300 point kill confirmed game.

FEB.21: Well i've finally settled into this game, I have my guns and classed set up to suit my play style. The only guns I use are the Five Sevens, Tac.45, and the M1216, the M1216 is the most fun to use. The submachine guns are the most overused guns in the game, they are way to powerful. I have been doing much better now, and can get 6000 point games regularly, so I'm satisfied for now.

Another Call of Duty you'll die for!

For Activision, the Call Of Duty franchise is like Midas. Anything it touches would change, to not just gold, but to Platinum. People go crazy over a Call Of Duty outing and within a day of its release it shoots to the Top charts and rave reviews are all over the place. If you think about it, it is indeed over-rated! I mean the Call of duty franchise doesn't have cutting edge graphics or doesn't do anything to revolutionize its genre. What it truly does is give you a sturdy, polished multiplayer gameplay and a truly cinematic single-player experience that even the veterans at EA failed to accomplish with their Medal Of Honor reboots. And COD, almost always, without flaw, excels in giving you that experience!

Treyarch had struck gold when they came up with Black Ops in 2010. It had an action packed gameplay, a great story with enough twist and turns to boggle your mind. It was on par with the original Call Of Duty Modern Warfare franchise promising everything its predecessor had given us. Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 takes over years after the events of Call Of Duty Black Ops. You play as Alex Mason & his son David Mason and at times as Sgt Woods. The gameplay differs from the protagonists you play as and the story unfolds shifting from flashbacks to current events and vice versa. Thanks to brilliant voice-overs and facial animations, the characters are hence interesting and believable. The star studded cast of the original returns with Sam Worthington, Gary Oldman, reprising their roles as Alex Mason and Reznov with Michael Keaton voicing over Agent Hudson and Rich McDonald voicing David Mason and Michael Rooker voicing Harper. Raul Menendez shines through out as the merciless trauma-turned-terrorist. He could very well be the next James Bond villain.

Black Ops 2 is the first game in the franchise to feature non linear gameplay. I was skeptical about how this would work out but was glad to find out that it was well worth a second play-through leading to multiple endings. The gun-play was smooth assuring a steady 60 FPS. All thanks to the 'Black Ops engine' beefed up to match this-gen games. I was rather flabbergasted to how they managed to vitalize this aging engine to the match the this-gen-standards. The set pieces looked gorgeous. Yes there were some low quality textures, invisible walls and clipping issues here and there but it was never distracting. You'll be immersed in the varied locales, ranging from rich, lush vegetation to scorched deserts from claustrophobic insides of a battle ship to a music-heavy dance floor. Loadout is another feature which is introduced here with unlock-able guns and accessories as you progress. It was a noteworthy feature and having able to customize your load-out made that much difference in your gameplay style.

Trent Reznor's main theme was haunting, revenge inducing and heroic, all at the same time. I listened to it for hours post-play-through of the game. Jack Wall's in-game soundtrack was no-less enjoyable, switching from eerie ambiance to adrenaline pumping score, I'd recommend the game OST as a must-listen-to one.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 promises a robust single player experience with a touching story and characters you can care about. The non-linear gameplay added a lot to the franchise and could be expected in upcoming titles. There is a reason why the Call Of Duty franchise is considered to be one of the top selling and most played games of all time…Black Ops 2 is one reason to add to it.

The worst COD game in history

Treyarch have messed up their game. Not only is the campaign boring, and crap. But the graphics hurt my head and eyes, the servers fail to connect (STILL)

Black Ops 1 had a below decent campaign (just below decent) but I enjoyed it a lot. The Modern Warfare trilogy was one of the best games in the COD franchise, but since that ended it's all gone to hell.

The latest installment, Call of Duty: Black Ops II is literally the most disappointing, most painful, most ball punching game of this franchise that I have ever played. The only feature that saves this game from a 1 star rating, and the only feature for which I play this game for is Zombies. But when Zombies gets boring, I turn off the system and don't return to it for weeks or even months! Me and my friends USED to play this together online, back then it was kinda fun but now it's lost its touch. Treyarch were you drunk while making this?!

bang for your buck...

Warning: Spoilers

Black Ops 2 doesn't reinvent Call of Duty in any startling ways, however it cranks the fun factor up to 11.

The campaign is a little boring at first, however things start to escalate in such a ridiculous manner that you will want to see the shooting gallery go to the bitter end.

A factor in this is the cornucopia of talent they assembled for the game; you will be surprised at who from Hollywood shows up for this romp even in the most minor of roles, including the likes of Tony Todd, Michael Rooker, Michelle Rodriguez, and the great Michael Keaton. Kamar de los Reyes steals the show with his performance as the menacing Raul Menendez; a great villain that proves to be more interesting than the protagonists.

The score done by Trent Reznor is subtly enjoyable. A standout piece is the one seen in the very menu you start off in that serves as a motif during certain parts of the campaign.

The graphics aren't bad, but they are beginning to show their age. Haven't noticed any significant changes from modern warfare 4 to now, however they still look good so its not a total loss.

The maps are a lot more interesting this time around in comparison to the last iteration. Generic warzones of the past are replaced with fun locations like a yacht to duke it out with the online community.

The modes are back in full force. Victory doesn't seem to be that important in this game, as the brilliant customization lets you set goals for yourself. An addictive premise that will keep you coming back for more. A new create your own emblem is almost a game in itself, as almost anything can be depicted to your friends and strangers alike to represent you. You will see the ugly side of humanity online as unicorns in compromising positions seem be the order of the day for most would be comedians out there, along with certain parts of the human anatomy in action...but I digress.

Tranzit(zombies!) is brilliant; the closest this game comes to adding something new to the table. You will be familiar with the mechanics of nazi zombies, however the map has been greatly expanded and filled with mysteries around every corner. The closest thing we'll get to a co-op zombie free roam for now. The grief mode is an amusing multiplayer mode in itself that can lead to some intense struggles for survival.

Black Ops 2 aims to get you as much out of your dollar as possible in the same way the orange box attempted to years ago. Treyarch's unique sense of humor shines through to round out the package, the bizarre post credits sequence being a highlight. Treyarch has done it again without taking themselves too seriously, kudos.

This is very good game. The campaign is not as good as the first one but still good. The multiplayer was fantastic.

The last good cod

With a funn multiplayer and a lot of content, cod bo2 is a balanced experience without advantages and with no noob-friendly things like bo3 and bo4. The campaign is great, awesome characters and Mendez is one of the best villains in the franchise. The replay factor does exists with the possibility of u choosing your equipment before the mission and different choices. Somethings are bad, the lag does exists and affects the experience and sometimes the story feels kinda rushed. Extra: the soundtrack is amazing In the end, bo2 is a well balanced experience mainly in campaign and with well rewarded skills in multilayer mode.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 one of the best videogames to play and a masterpiece

Since I've started to play this videogame, I realized how the storyline of Cod Black Ops flows from COD BO1-2. Alex and Woods and David were the best characters and playable in this game. Different countries are in Cod Bo2 ( Angola, Afghanistan, Nigaragua, Yemen, Panama and NYC). Guns are a good choice in this game to shoot and very controllable. Some missions they have the year 1986-1989 and some 2025 where David plays here with Harper and his team. Zombie mode was fun and enjoyable to play. I passed 12 rounds and got 16300 points. Soundtrack is really amazing that fits the COD BO2 missions. I highly recommend this game to play. It's fun, you'll spend your time very good to play, it never gets boring.

Call of Duty has changed. In a very good way.

I got the game. I loved the game. Completed it in 14 hours and I used to have COD. Now I love it.

Treyarch have done something astonishing. There is an unbelievable amount of things in this game from Customization to Zombies.

Get the game. It's a great one.

Like COD 4 Modern Warfare. It's still a COD game in many ways, but some very welcome changes in the Multiplayer, Zombies and even the Campaign (a rare pleasure) make this a more enjoyable experience than past games.

Guys. It is great.

WOW, just WOW

Warning: Spoilers

This is definitely one of the best Call of Duty game of all time, everything in this game is perfect, the campaign, the multiplayer and the zombies it was all perfect. What I loved about the game mostly was the optional choices. In some mission of the campaign you have some tough choices to make and whatever choice you choose changes the campaign. Besides the choices the characters are amazing and I also love the way you jump back and fourth from the future (2025) while your playing as David Mason and then jumping back to the past (1986) playing as Alex Mason and Frank Woods.

The multiplayer is amazing, the maps, the guns, the score streaks everything about the multiplayer in this game is amazing.

The Zombies in this game is hands down the best zombies mode in any Call of Duty game. The DLC in zombies are amazing, Mob of the Dead and Orgins are the best 2 out of the 4 DLC zombies maps.

This game definitely needs a remaster immediately. I would highly recommend people to play this game especially for the zombies because you'll have a hell of a lot of from.

Call of Duty is at it's best

I love this game! I love it! The campaign is great. I love how you switch from 1986 (or is it 1989?) to 2025. The levels are great and very brain-racking.

The Multiplayer is very fun and the maps are great. I love the guns that you get to use and other equipment. The graphics are great and the fights are fun.

Zombies mode is very good and intense. It is quite challenging as well and it's not for the faint-hearted. WARNING!!! I f you have a very young sibling/child/cousin etc. do not let them watch you play zombies because they will poop themselves with fear of the zombies. I recommend this game for any CoD fan of ages 13+.

Much better than I was expecting.

Warning: Spoilers

In 2009, the Call of Duty franchise struck gold with Modern Warfare 2, and followed it up with another good game, Black Ops. However, myself and many other gamers were left with a bitter taste in our mouths when playing Modern Warfare 3, and so I'll admit, I didn't have high expectations for this game. I was wrong. This game doesn't just make up for Modern Warfare 3, it enters the franchises top three games within the first mission.

The voice actors are brilliant with Sam Worthington and the incredible James C. Burns returning from the first Black Ops as Alex Mason and Frank Woods, Rich McDonald as the game's protagonist and son of Alex, David Mason, and Michael Rooker providing both comedy and drama in the role of Mike Harper. However, if I had to single out one character in particular, it would be Kamar de los Reyes as the game's antagonist, Raul Menendez. Menendez is terrifying, chilling, intelligent and clever, and wouldn't go out of place as a James Bond villain, but also retains a sympathetic side to his character, making you swap between wanting to kill him and side with him throughout the game.

The story is also great as the choices you make throughout the game shape the rest of the story and the ending of the game. I like this as it is something different and a risk taken by the game's developers... and it pays off.

One bad point with this game would be the Strike Force missions, which are essential and also shape the story. They are incredibly complicated to control, leading to frustration, and inability to complete a mission is an automatic failure. Maybe, if they are developed upon in a future game, they could be easier to handle, but in this one, they were just a inconvenience.

Overall, this game proves that there is still life within the franchise and hits back at all the critics who say Call of Duty games are all rehashes. If there is a Black Ops III (which I doubt there will be as it would be hard to make a sequel as of all the different endings), I would not be put off buying it. Well done, Treyarch.

the best of the series

where do i start. this is the best COD of the franchise. some would love to hate this but COD is famous for a reason, no other FPS game has matched the fast fluid action that COD has nailed. sure enough the graphics are not the best of what are out there, but it is decent enough to say that this is the best graphics game in the COD franchise. there is soo much to cover in this game so ill try and make it short. CAMPAIGN:- this campaign is short, longer than the previous entries but it is short. but there is sooo much variety and gameplay changes to counter this flaw. the story is awesome and convincing and the villain is AWESOME. there are the returning characters from Black ops which is a good thing. this time around you shape the way the story progresses, sometimes the choices you take has such a drastic change in the story that it actually changes the ending, yes thats an awesome reason for you to play the game twice. the game frequently shifts from segments in the past and future but it never confuses you in any cost. this is in many ways a era to the franchise. MULTIPLAYER:- this is down right the best multiplayer experience in the franchise. there are sooo much of changes in the multiplayer thats makes this game the best mulyiplayer experience than any other. the maps are small and i mean REALLY small. but thats actually an awesome thing, your constantly engaged in the action rather than running around wildly searching for foes. this time around there is something "pick 10" option, which means you can set only 10 equipments in one class. this makes you set your class strategically according to the maps. this time the kill streaks are replaced with score streaks and this is awesome, you earn your streaks by the amount of points you gain and this is awesome when your playing matches such as domination or kill confirmed. the level up is very rewarding and the guns are best of the series. there are so much more awesome stuff but i wanna keep this review short. ZOMBIES:- the zombies return and they are freaking cool. this time there is something called the tranzist, a small campaign which is unfolded through radios after completing each wave of horrifying zombies. playing with a friend is the best way to experience this mode and there are different varieties of modes to keep you engaged for months.

VERDICT:- this is by far the best COD game ever realised and this is a must pick up game for any playstation or xbox owners, sure there is some lag and framerate issues in the multiplayer but it is never bad enough to ruin the experience. this is in many ways a new beginning to the franchise and this could turn any FPS gamer to fall in love with the franchise.

Gamer camping rage farmer should be the title

Hence most of the Call of Duty games are allot alike ill just post my review here.

while the main single player campaign might be OK, the main problem is in the muti-player online mode. This mode is the one thing that turns good gamers into people with anger problems even more when its kids as young as eight playing.

I have played allot of online multi-player shooters and seen tons of truly skilled players but Call Of Duty seems to be filled with people who camp and only snipe. Those people who snipe and camp are not good at shooters; they make it hard for casual players who only play when they are over at a friends place or when they got free time from work or school.

This game series along with FIFA and other sports games seem to be the same exact games just with a few new features and a little better graphics.

While i enjoy the detail with the guns compared to other shooters, the online community and playing online is just not worth it.

The Future is Black.

While the future may indeed be black be in this gloomy, believable fiction written by established Hollywood writer David Goyer, the future for the Call of Duty franchise certainly is not. Game developer Treyarch Studios has delivered a game that not only lives up to the franchise's reputation, but is an incredible game overall.

Call of Duty has pioneered the shooting genre for years now, and Black Ops II is a testament to why that is. Sharp, responsive controls; constantly evolving game-play; writing that is both compelling and touching; Black Ops II is an absorbing experience.

The story follows several characters, some from other Call of Duty games, but anything relevant to the plot is recapped in character dialogue. You'll tread in the boots of many different soldiers throughout the course of the game, but you'll slowly realize that if Black Ops II does have a main character, it would be the antagonist, Raul Menendez.

Contrary to the black and white stories typically told by war movies and war video games alike, you will truly sympathize with Menendez as you learn more about him. Maybe he's even right in his cause.

The story is far stronger than any first person shooter should have, and I recommend playing it just for the story. Oh, and the story has several different endings based on player input, so be careful out there! Long time fans of the series will be pleased to see the competitive multi-player seeing its first major advancement in years. There is even a zombies mode that is on par with any action survival game out there. This game is massive.

The future is not black for this franchise if Treyarch Studios keeps making games like this. See you on the battlefield!

Really sad about multi player.

The Campaign was incredible. I was completely blown away by the originality (I mean the decision making thing has been done far more effectively- for example with the Mass Effect trilogy) but it was so emotional and intense. (9/10)

Zombies is furthermore bigger and better than before (I'd rate it 8/10). Worth buying simply for zombies and or campaign alone, far superior to the pitiful multi player...

This game blew my mind when I bought it: but the on line multi player is just pitiful. There's no fun in it any more: the lag from hosts, the irritating migrating system, the amount of 10 year old kids all contribute to a really horrible multi player experience. This is probably the #1 selling point furthermore: the maps an such themselves are great, but the fact they do nothing to solve these irritating multi player problems. That really drags it down to 6/10, for a good multi player all-round fantastic online and offline campaign, ass well as fun co-op, Battlefield 3 is far superior.

STEAM Version, Wast Of Money (Mainly Zombies and Activisions Anti-Cheat System)

I loved Black Ops 1 and thought they would not be able to top it with Black Ops 2 and I was right the story line was a bit too loose for me with a few plot holes to boot. But if you want a good game to just relax and have fun with then I recommend this one as it is a good laugh and I give Activision bonus points for removing the Developer Console as god mode and other such cheats are not needed, if you play it on Easy it's like having god mode on any way. I rate this game 5/10 but recommend the price be dropped as it is too expensive for what it is.

This part of my review is of the Multiplayer of Black Ops 2 I found it much better that Black Ops 1 the maps are amazing and good fun to do drop shots and cross fire and with virtually no ware for people to camp (Stay in one place all the time) combined with its bots matches in custom game it is worth the bad story mode in Single Player the Multiplayer Mode gets a score of 7/10 but if you play Multiplayer be prepared for other users complain about other people cheating or being new to the game (a noob).

The last part of my review of Black Ops 2 is for the Zombies Mode and the best way to describe it would be just as good as Black Ops 1 Zombies unless you purchase the Nuke Town Zombies DLC although the anti-cheat system needs a bit of work as I have been band from playing Black Ops 2 Multiplayer and Zombies after joining a game where the host as using cheats and after speaking to the other players of the match found that we have all been banned from playing trying to contact Activision about it is a waste of time as they say all bans are final as they have no way of checking which user was cheating. So here is a warning to all who buy Black Ops 2 only play matches with friends who you know don't use cheats or hacks because now I have a junk game as stated in my review of Single Player. For this reason and Activisions inability to use an anti-cheating system that only banns the offender I rate this part of Black Ops 2 (Zombies) 1/10. Activision need to review all those who have been wrongfully banned and update their system.

Great game for anyone to play.

Warning: Spoilers

If you play this game, you are making a great choice. The Campaign is overall great and it's a plus that you can make you own choices. But in order to get the right ending you have to kill off Harper, which is the best character in the story. I give it a 9.5/10.

Zombies is a great experience overall. But the only problem I have with it is that on the dlc map die rise you can easily die by the trample stream, but doesn't everyone. Also they should have turned on all dlc maps. I give zombies a 8/10.

Multiplayer is one of the most notable features online. Some maps are small and some are large. You have to get used to the same maps over and over but it's still fun. I don't like it when you get to vote for the map to play on, and you also have to deal with the complainers but it's still fun to mess with people and troll them. If you get the dlc packs, the weapon camos are a cool thing to spend your money on. I give Multiplayer a 9/10 If you haven't played this game you should.

Pros and Cons

I recently was given this game as a gift for my birthday I found it to be one of the most fun multi-players I have ever played. I will now give to you the PROS AND CONS of Call Of Duty Black Ops 2: Pros: Huge fan based multi-player(always someone to play with online), Non Repetitive storyline, Good back story for the player who played black ops the original, Lots of weapons and maps in multi-player, Easy report access for the jerk who keeps trash talking and ruining the match, Cons: $45 price tag, Most content is DLC, $15 map packs and they don't even come with multiple cameos for guns, Lag more than other COD games So all in all this is one of if not the best call of duty games on the market very addicting multiple endings in game choices and a lot more for the call of duty fan in you or a friend

Awesome Emblems for Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Source: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2387409/reviews
